I came to this industry from a lifetime in professional sales,
owning multiple businesses in everything from advertising to residential construction. I'd sold my own home many
times and it was the use of a well regarded local Realtor
to sell my last rental home which made me think about pursuing this
career change. Yes, like many of you I suspect, I thought the
bar for success in Real Estate was quite low. While I was
vastly interested in real estate, I was equally determined to find a
new way.
I've found it here. It is the intersection of a very
popular relocation city- Charlotte NC- plus the transformation of
the buying process through the Internet, and the rise of Buyer
Agency in North Carolina and a terrific Broker-In-Chief, Scott
Wilkinson.
Within the first year of joining Scott Wilkinson and Associates (
the most generous and technologically advanced broker in the state)
I had to hire an agent because I had too many quality prospects
coming to Charlotte, and many times they chose the same week or

Meet Donna Croom

Donna
has more than 11 years of experience working as an agent taking on
the difficult and sometimes trying task of managing the contract,
from time of contract through closing. Donna is there every
step of the way in this all important process. Coordinating with the
closing attorneys, lenders, appraisers, sellers, seller's agents,
and more, Donna is pleasant, firm or pleading as the situation
requires. Each year, most agents lose many contracts in this
stage... with Donna and our terrific Buyers Agents, we don't lose a
contract unless a buyer requested it!

Terry sold his first
million dollars of homes on a new home site one month before his
21st birthday in Germantown, Maryland. Terry has been a
multi-million dollar producer from his first year in NC real estate.
In 2006, he has sold more than $8M personally while building his
team to 4 agents. Terry has been a Licensed General Contractor in
three states, and has designed and built more than $10M in
residential construction projects. Terry has also been an early
adopter of the Internet having an on-line business in1995. Terry's
degree is in Finance from the University of Maryland.
